The Tall Tale of Miguel Sanchez
Miguel is so good at sailing he can wrestle an octopus with one arm and with the other, he can sail a boat. It was a rainy day in San Francisco. In a split second there was a beautiful sunset. Then a big crowd tried to guess what that big blob in the sky is. ’’ It’s an airplane,’’ ’’no it’s a frog,” “no it’s a spaceship” no it’s a frog, “no it’s a spaceship.” Then they all ran to Popeye’s boat because that’s where it landed. Then all they saw was an eagle and a strong baby pass out. They tried to bring it on to the pier. Then Miguel cried then his tears start to flood and he yelled as loud as a sonic boom. Then the eagle kept him on the boat and Miguel became a sailor. 27 years later, Miguel was catching fish and wrestling them when he didn’t want to work. He has been catching fish since he was 5. Popeye, was his nickname he thought of the fish after he won fisherman of the year award, he caught 526 bass, 1 whale, 3 sharks and 5 walruses. Then he went down to 20 bass, 0 whales, 0 sharks and 0 walruses. Now Miguel only wrestled fish he never caught fish not even Jock caught fish. Popeye sent Jock to San Francisco it acted as if you were in a tornado. Popeye wanted to wrestle a human so he would send Jock on these missions. People said yes when it said million dollar prize, but it showed a picture of Popeye. Then all, but one left and his was Harold Bob Jefferson. Then Harold went straight to the pier and yelled,” Come and face me in the Jefferson Gym or I will kill your little Jock!” Then Popeye accepted the challenge. Wait Popeye Harold forgot to say it’s a quad meeting so you have to beat 3 other teams to get to me. Now Popeye had a challenge he trained by wrestling fish by shark by whale by killer whale by lockless monster to walruses for 3 months. Now next month was the quad meeting. Now Popeye needs to come over his biggest which is land. He can’t back now because he wants Jock back. So Popeye drove to shore and before you knew it he was running on the beach. Now today August 1st 2012 this will be the day I get my friend back. First, Popeye wrestled 10 people from USC, but one was taller than 9 basketball hoops so Popeye aimed for the legs and pinned him in 2 or 5 seconds. Then the next team Popeye first was 1 person and he weighted 2 black bears. Then the guy was leading by two points in the last minute then Popeye raised him up and took him down for a pin. Then Popeye was beating everyone as he was beating a bag of flour. Now the moment everyone was waiting for Popeye vs. Harold Bob Jefferson. People were more excited as if it was Christmas morning. They were happier to see the match then to see the superbowl. Popeye was very tired he looked like a guy who work at FedEx at 6:00 in the morning. The bell rang there was a brawl, people flying everywhere the fight took a week. Then finally someone fell to the ground and it was Popeye everyone was shocked and as he went back to his boat Harold let Popeye have Jock back as he was crying with Jock. They both disappeared into thin air. People think that he was responsible for the ocean because cried too much and it started floods.
